Epona - Framed Original Horse Painting

This painting is based on the Celtic goddess, Epona. Described as the protector of horses, ponies, donkeys and mules, Epona is also seen as a a giver of life, health and fertility. The Day of Epona is still celebrated around the world where her images are adorned with roses, which feature in the painting.

This original is part of my Divine Beings collection and is painted in acrylics, metallic paint and posca pens.
