Renascence - Framed Original Deer Painting

I’m intrigued by the revival of nature in the spring, after what appears to be a long winter of dormancy. The tiny buds appear on the trees, the ground becomes awash with colour from grasses and flowers and love in the wildlife world takes centre stage with courting, nest making and the birth of offspring.

“Renascence” shows a tender moment between two roe doe. The rising sun shines behind them and casts its glow on the grass, framing their encounter like a halo. From one deer grows a tree and on the other, the shadow of a canopy falls on her back like rain.
