Deva - Original Lion Painting

Deva is based on the Tibetan Snow Lion, a celestial animal which is celebrated in Tibetan and Buddhist culture. His demeanour is enchanting, proud yet solemn with a quiet contemplation on his face which reflects calm and peace. 

This original is part of my Divine Beings collection and is painted in acrylics, metallic paint and posca pens.

The metallic paint shimmers when the light hits and gives an extra dimension to the artwork. The painting features a mandala design which represents the Buddhist links to the Snow Lion.

10 x 10” mount board. Comes in a cello envelope for protection.
