Inari - Original Fox Painting

Inari is one of Japan’s most popular deities. Depicted in either male, female or androgynous form, Inari is said to be associated with kitsune, supernatural foxes that act as Inari’s messengers and protectors, who are only allowed to be helpful and benevolent. Here she sits, content among the blossoms of the Japanese Cherry.

This original is part of my Divine Beings collection and is painted in acrylics, metallic paint and spray paint. The sides are painted white.

Done on a 12 x 12”, 19mm deep cradled wood panel, ready to hang in your favourite spot!
