Paint Your Own Pet Workshop - Sunday 3rd August 2025 - East Whitburn, West Lothian

Want to create your own colourful and expressive painting of your pet and learn some tips along the way?

Join me for a one day workshop where you’ll discover intuitive painting while also having fun with colour to create a beautiful piece of art of your favourite four-legged friend. Take home and hang in pride of place straight away!

The focus of this workshop is to have an enjoyable and relaxing day with likeminded people (and friends!) and create a portrait made with your own unique personal touches.

All materials are included, plus some refreshments throughout the day. Canvases are either 16x20” or 20x20” depending on composition of your pet’s photo. 

The workshop starts at 10am and we’ll finish up at 4.30pm. 

In the first half of the day, we’ll cover some of the fundamentals that I used within my own work, discover layering, colour selection and have fun in the process. 

We’ll stop for lunch midday with either bbq or wood fired pizza.

Then we’ll return to start painting our furry friends, working from photos to create a lifelike yet artistic portrait of your chosen pet - that might be your own, a friend’s, or even one who is no longer here 🧡

Please note - There is no public transport to the venue, so a car is required to get here.

Once booked, you’ll receive an email from me two weeks prior to the class date with everything you need to know. Please keep an eye on your junk folder if you can’t find it or get in touch.

Class size limited to 4 people to enable regular 1 to 1 guidance.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that sometimes unforeseen circumstances may mean that you cannot attend a workshop.

If you wish to transfer your space to a friend or family member, you may do so provided you let us know who is attending in your place.

If you wish to cancel within 4 weeks of the workshop date, a 50% cancellation fee will be deducted from your refund to cover venue and administration costs.
No refunds given if you do not show up on the day.

If in the event that Anj Art cancels the workshop, a full refund will be given.
